    A Place to Call Home

In a quaint coastal town, a young family dreams of a home where three generations could live together—mother, father, their two children, and their beloved elderly parents. The mother, a nurse with long night shifts, and the father, a teacher with a heart full of stories, long for a place where
their kids could grow up with their grandparents' wisdom close at hand.

But the housing market isn't kind. Despite their hard work and savings, every house they consider is snatched up by investors. These investors, armed with deep pockets, see homes not as places for families but as assets to be rented out to feed their insatiable greed . They drive up the prices, making it impossible for regular families to buy. Furthermore, rents are pushed so high that those starting out are trapped in a cycle of never-ending payments, losing hope in ever owning a home.

Adding to the chaos are foreign investors making big, tax-free profits by buying homes and selling them at much higher prices. These homes often sit unoccupied, pushing prices higher still. The foreign investors use agencies to buy properties that local people show interest in, putting them
into a long settlement period, then raising the price and putting them back on the market shortly after settlement. These foreign investors do not invest in the economy and take advantage of tax-free profits for their own benefit, with agents getting kickbacks and acting illegally.

In response, a special investigation team is deployed to tackle the housing market's corruption. After thorough investigations, the team seizes the assets of the crime syndicate and the foreign investors. The agents and foreign investors' citizenship or residency are canceled, and they are
deported. Houses that had been seized are rented below market rent to local tradesmen, providing much-needed relief.

Additionally, those out of pocket are given credits to use either as rent for these houses or for any of the assets that are auctioned.

Once the corruption is corrected, new foreign investors come into the market
